Emmy-Winning Creative Director Unveils KRU: Rise of the Ghost City – A Cambodian Urban Fantasy Collaboration with Diwata Komiks

Emmy Award-winning Creative Director Sina San has unveiled KRU: Rise of the Ghost City, a bold new cinematic and interactive comic series inspired by Cambodian mythology. Set in present-day Angel City, it follows five young guardians who use ancestral ink, rhythm-based rituals, and codices to protect their community from Hollow spirits born of trauma and decay. In collaboration with fellow Emmy Award-winner Mark A.J. Nazal of Diwata Komiks, KRU blends supernatural coming-of-age, Southeast Asian folklore, and street-level spiritual warfare in a creator-owned venture described as Charmed meets Ghostbusters with a sprinkle of Constantine.
